Fluorite is a fascinating gemstone which is found in an array of colours, particularly green, purple, yellow and blue shades. The phenomenon of Fluorescence got its name from this mineral. Known as ‘Blue John’, a now rare purply-blue variety is found in Derbyshire, UK. Fluorite is believed by some to promote concentration and clarity of mind.
The clasp, findings and extension chain are all solid 925 Sterling Silver or 14k Gold Filled, and the beads are strung on very fine and flexible but strong jewellery wire, making the bracelet dainty in size, but strong and durable.
