The Tourmaline gemstones are exceptionally beautiful, with a range of tones from pale to indicolite blue, with some teal/green tones. One of the most colourful gemstones, legend has it that Tourmaline passed through a Rainbow on its way to earth, bringing the spectrum of colours with it. Along with Opal, it is a birthstone for the month of October, making it a perfect gift for those born in October.
The clasp, findings and extension chain are all solid 925 Sterling Silver or 14k Gold Filled, and the beads are strung on very fine and flexible but strong jewellery wire, making the necklace dainty in size, but strong and durable.
