Auralite 23 is a rare form of Amethyst, named after its makeup of up to 23 different minerals within the Amethyst crystals, and is quickly becoming one of the most treasured gemstones in the crystal healing world. Considered by many a 'master healer', it is thought to have powerful, potent properties of empowerment, awakening and self-knowledge. It is also believed by some to assist with calming hot tempers and promoting mindfulness. Although it has been dated at approximately 2.4 billion years old, it was discovered very recently, in 2007, and is a one-location gemstone, found only in Canada.
