Best known for its green shades, Aventurine actually occurs in a number of colours, including red, blue, green and shades of orange / peach / yellow. Since ancient times Aventurine has been considered a lucky stone, and is believed by some to improve finances and increase abundance. In the Chakra system Green Aventurine is often used to represent the fourth, or heart, chakra.
